Do you believe in love at first sight?

Love at first sight... It is the easiest way to love. And the hardest.

It is the easiest in that it is based on pure unconditional faith, faith that the one you fall in love with will love you back, and in the same way that you love him or her.

It is the hardest in that the other may not love you back at all, or may love you in a way that does not match your own love.

I loved Her Ladyship, and maybe she did love me back. But her way of loving me was so different from my own that to me it felt as if she did not love me at all and was just using me and my love for her own purposes, for her own needs.

Then someone strayed into my woods, and the world stopped for the time we were allowed together, and there was only one way of loving and it was the same for us both.

Yes, I believe in love at first sight. Now.
