What is your favorite daydream, and why?

Mellors relaxes, sprawled on the grass, looking up into the foliage above his head, shimmering green and gold in the sunlight, the blue sky twinkling through now and then.

A daydream?

I've become a master at those...

There's the one about going to sleep each night with my lover in my arms and finding him still sleeping by my side in the morning, day after day, in a repetition of habit others may find boring but I feel we wouldn't.

There's the one about living together, working together, doing everyday things together.

There are others, many others about doing fun things together... playing tackle, eating out in the woods, soaking in our secret pool.

Then there are the nightdreams, but those are not the ones you were asking about, right?

Oh... you only wanted to know about one? Sorry then they're so many, but in a way they are one, the dream of having my love by my side always.

That's my favorite daydream and I'm sure there's need for me to explain why.
